When I'm choosing a product to add to my personal care lineup, the most important thing is a multipurpose (when possible!) product with simple ingredients. Similar to how I formulate my own non-toxic skincare line, I am looking for a short ingredient list that's filled with ingredients that I know and understand and that are going to add to my health rather than take away from it.
If you want to clear your skin for good, support the healthy functioning of your skin's barrier and acid mantle, encourage proper sebum production, and provide an environment where your skin thrives, then it's important to take a look at what you're eating (or not eating.)
